We want to welcome you to our exclusive companionship agency, The Rendez Vous Club. To cater for our clients’ best experience we gather and use personal information. Trust, transparency and discretion are essential at The Rendez Vous Club. To explain what we mean by this, we have drafted the following privacy statement.
We have the right to revise this privacy statement from time to time. Therefore, we recommend you to regularly consult this privacy statement to make sure you always have the latest version. In case we make major changes to our privacy policy, we will inform you about these on our website. This privacy policy has been drafted in October 2021.
1. Who we are as an agency
We are The Rendez Vous Club, based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. We have a license for operating an escort service with reference VHT-174677. The permit was issued by the Municipality of Rotterdam, located at Coolsingel 40 in Rotterdam.
2. When do we collect and process personal information?
The privacy statement of The Rendez Vous Club applies whenever an information- or booking request is being made by email or telephone and in every case a booking has been confirmed.
With the exception of the information about the companion: no information will be collected or given away other than the one already provided on our website.
If an information request or booking request does not result in a booking, we will only save the (email) correspondence, unless in the case of fraud. If we have clear evidence or reason for concern that our services are being misused, we will collect all the information and process it as further required.
3. Why we collect personal information
The Rendez Vous Club collects and processes personal information for the following reasons:
• It is necessary for the implementation of our services.
• We are aiming high to provide clients with the best match possible with one or more companions.
• It enables us to make a booking and optimize future bookings.
• The client gave permission to use their personal information.
• The client has disclosed the personal data him/herself without being required to do so.
• It enables us to guarantee the safety of our companions.
• To make sure that a client is 18+ (i.e. of legal age according to Dutch law), otherwise it is not legal to process a booking request.
The Rendez Vous Club will not process data for any other purposes.
The client is not (legally) obliged to provide personal data. However, if the client does not provide the required personal data, The Rendez Vous Club cannot provide any services to the client.
4. Which personal information do we collect?
All the information we collect, is provided by the client. The personal information the client provides to The Rendez Vous Club must be true. If the requested information is evidentially not true or a potential fraud is suspected, The Rendez Vous Club has the right to not provide the client with any service.
If the request results in a booking, we collect the following information:
• Name
• Age
• Occupation
• Sexual preferences
• Contact details
• Personal data on your legal identification, including your identification photo
We only use the copy of your legal identification to check whether you are of the required legal age and to verify your identity as stated in the personal data about yourself provided by you. After a positive check and successful use of our services, the copy of your proof of identity will be finally deleted from our database.
In case a booking request results in a booking, however, this booking is cancelled by the client, we process the personal information the same way as in cases when the booked service is being used.
5. Where does The Rendez Vous Club store the collected information?
The Rendez Vous Club will keep the personal information as long as needed in order to process a booking or any further bookings with one or more companion(s). This is required by the current applicable law in the Netherlands. In this, the legal period of keeping personal information is 7 years, however your details are anonymized after 3 years. The Rendez Vous Club is allowed to retain data during the limited periods stated above to protect The Rendez Vous Club from a legal claim.
In case of fraud or (suspected) harm done to our companions, we reserve the right to store your personal information as long as required in order to protect ourselves and the companions from any further damage.
When we no longer need your personal information, we make sure we delete everything the client provided The Rendez Vous Club.
Protection and discretion are highly valued at The Rendez Vous Club. We highly aim to protect your personal information. We will do anything to protect your personal information in every possible way. Only in cases of (suspected) fraud and misuse of our services we reserve the right to provide your personal data to a third party, such as the Dutch police or legal entities.
The Rendez Vous Club works together with Shooble, an online custom-made program which enables us to store (personal) information. The (personal) information in this program is safe and protected, because of online security technology applied by Shooble.
We do our best to keep our website as safe as possible. Your connection to our website is encrypted via SSL (secure sockets layer).
6. Cookies
To provide the best service possible to our clients, we use cookies on this website. Cookies are small text files that a web page may store on a computer or any mobile phone device. This cookie can be retrieved during a later visit to the same site. The cookie cannot be read by any other website than the one that created it. The cookies used by this website are anonymous. You may also configure your browser in such a way that it warns you when cookies are created, or your browser is being affected.
Nevertheless, no data transfer or internet storage can be guaranteed 100% securely. If you have any reason to believe that there is an unsafe situation or both parties, you as a client and us as the provider of the service, are subject to fraud or manipulation by a third party, you must let The Rendez Vous Club know immediately via email or a phone call.
7. Sharing personal information
For the implementation of our services, your personal data is shared with the companion who is going to date you.
We also require the help of third parties for certain services. Your data may be shared with the following third parties, but only when this is necessary for the implementation of the agreement. These third parties are in any case:
• Our hosting provider
• Shooble
• Our accountant
These parties do not use your personal data for any other purposes than to enable our services and perform our legal duties.
If there is misconduct on the side of the client on a date reported by one or more of our companions, we will report this immediately to the police. In that case your personal details will be shared with the police. Moreover, in reference to current Dutch law, we reserve the right to report any (suspected) case of misconduct, fraud and misuse of our services to the Dutch police or legal entities.
8. Privacy rights
You have the right to access your personal data. If you can prove towards The Rendez Vous Club that the personal information we hold about you is incorrect, you have the right to ask us to correct this personal information. When you decide your information stored by us shall be deleted, you can ask us to delete the personal information that we keep. Once we positively verified that it is no longer necessary for The Rendez Vous Club to keep your information, we will delete your information as requested, except in cases of (a suspected) fraud, reported misconduct or misuse of our services.
9. Optimized and updated information
The Rendez Vous Club will revise this privacy statement from time to time. Therefore, the information being provided by this statement is subject to change, as is the legal privacy policy, with reference to current Dutch law.
